Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and are subject to availability. Additional fees may apply.
Reservation and Cancellation Policy
- Guarantee Policy: All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to check-in to avoid any charges. Cancellations made after this period will incur one night’s room charge.
- No-Show Policy: Guests who do not cancel and fail to arrive will be charged for one night’s stay.
Payment Policy
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept M-Pesa, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, as well as cash payments at the front desk.
- Full payment is required at check-in unless otherwise arranged.
- Corporate and group booking payment terms can be arranged with prior notice.
Children and Extra Beds
- Children Policy: Children under 12 years of age stay free when using existing bedding.
- Extra Bed Policy: Extra beds are available upon request and are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.
- Cribs: Complimentary cribs are available upon request for infants.
Smoking Policy
Melvic Hotel is a non-smoking property. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all guest rooms and public areas.
- Designated Smoking Areas: Outdoor smoking areas are available. Failure to comply with our non-smoking policy will result in a cleaning fee.
Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed at Melvic Hotel.
Noise Policy
To ensure the comfort of all guests, quiet hours are enforced between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Excessive noise and disturbances will result in a warning, and further violations may lead to eviction without refund.
Damages and Liability
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay. The hotel reserves the right to charge for any damages or excessive cleaning required after check-out.
Melvic Hotel is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Safe deposit boxes are available for guest use at the front desk.
Parking Policy
Complimentary self-parking is available for hotel guests. The hotel is not responsible for any damage to or theft of vehicles while on hotel property.
Group Bookings
Special terms and conditions apply for group bookings (10 rooms or more). Please contact our reservation team for more details and tailored offers.
Airport Transfers
The hotel does not provide airport transfers. However, we can arrange private taxi services to and from Kisumu International Airport upon request.
Health & Safety
Melvic Hotel follows stringent cleaning protocols to ensure the health and safety of all guests and staff. Hand sanitizers are available throughout the property, and frequent cleaning of high-touch areas is enforced.
